CHM Associates, a California Corporation doing business as Convention Housing Management ("CHM") understands and respects the need to protect the information provided to us. This notice describes our privacy policy. By using or visiting this website, you are accepting the terms, conditions and practices described in this Privacy Statement.

1. Personal Information

"Personal Information" means personally identifiable information that CHM collects from visitors to this website. CHM may compile and use Personal Information to inform visitors of new products and services that may be of interest to them. CHM will not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose Personal Information to third-parties for commercial purposes.

CHM collects information about the areas and pages of this website used by visitors and information on the hardware and software being used by visitors, such as operating system, browser version and size of screen. This information is analyzed in the aggregate and used to improve the content and functionality of the site.

2. Reservation Data

"Reservation Data" means information provided to CHM in the course of a reservation that can be used to identify an entity or individual, including but not limited to, a name (entity or first and last name), physical address, company affiliation, telephone number, email address or other contact information, and related information, including but not limited to, arrival/departure information, and credit card number and expiration date (the credit card not charged, but is used only to guarantee the reservation).

CHM uses appropriate technology measures to ensure privacy protection and confidentiality of all Reservation Data. We provide a unique account password to each user for each reservation or reservation(s), which ensures that the user is the only party that can access the data it has uploaded. The event hotels have access only to the guest list for that it uploads. CHM may disclose Reservation Data to third-parties engaged to assist CHM in delivering products and services. Any such third-parties will be bound by CHM's privacy policy. CHM will not share, sell or rent Reservaton Data to third-parties for commercial purposes.

3. Release to Third Parties

CHM will release Personal Information to third parties only if such release is legally required; is necessary to protect the rights, property or personal safety of CHM, its customers and/or the public; or is to a successor-in-interest of CHM.

4. Cookies

CHM may set and access "cookies" on your computer?s hard drive. Cookies enable CHM's systems to recognize your Web browser and to make your use of this website more secure and convenient. Cookies also allow CHM to collect information about your activity on this website. CHM may provide links to third-party websites owned and operated by others. CHM is not responsible for and exerts no control over any Web site that is linked to or from this website. CHM disclaims any and all responsibility or liability arising from or related to third-party websites.

5. Security

CHM maintains a secure data network utilizing industry-standard firewall and password protection systems. Access to servers containing Personal Information and Reservation Data is strictly controlled and limited to certain individuals within CHM and certain third-parties engaged to assist CHM in delivering products and services. Our servers are maintained in secure facilities with backup power and Internet connections. Appropriate security measures are in place to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of information. Internal security policies and procedures are subject to periodic review and enhancement.

6. Changes

CHM may amend this Privacy Statement from time to time.

Except as expressly granted in writing, CHM does not grant any express or implied rights of use or any other rights in connection with "CHM" or "Convention Housing Management".
